2019 14U Sunshine South Showcase
Jake Walls is a 2023 IF/ with a 5-7 115 lb. frame from Huffman, TX who attends Hargrave. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.79 seconds. Hits from even-based stance, short load in hands, middle approach with line drive swing plane, gets the barrel out front to make contact, does a nice job staying inside the baseball and working to all fields, solid approach at the plate. Showed good range in the middle infield, moves well to both sides, solid footwork, hands work well at the ball, shows good balance to gather, clocked up to 65 mph on throws. Very good student.
