Glenn Smith is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends St. Michael's Academy. Smith works from a long limbed, athletic, and still plenty projectable build that provided tons of defensive value over the course of his event. As a primary SS, Smith displayed solid lateral range and got to spots with ease, showcasing a clean fielding funnel with effortless carry across the diamond up to 90 mph. The hands were soft with rhythmic actions and evident natural ability shown. On the bump, Smith repeated the arm stroke well up to 86 mph with sinking action present on the FB. He broke off a slurvy breaker at 2377 rpm for swing and miss and could certainly eat innings out of the pen if needed. Offensively, the righty started from an even base with a compact hand set and an inward toe tap trigger flashing hand speed through the zone to produce loud impact to the middle of the field. He controlled the barrel well and posted an exit velo of 88 mph. Ran a 7.17 sixty yard dash. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
