Brady Burger is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-2 260 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Large frame with broad shoulders and strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a smooth paced side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays tall on back side at gather and works to the plate with tall and fall actions. Lands in line with front side well and carries momentum. Loose arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball generated good downhill tilt through the zone in the mid to upper 70's, topped at 80 mph. Curveball had 12/6 shape with tighter spin and late depth in the upper 60's. Also utilized a changeup offering that flashed some sink with fade in the low 70's. Displayed good feel for all three offerings and looked to locate to the bottom quadrants of the zone. Also worked out defensively from first base showing solid footwork with clean glove actions while funneling. Worked through exchange quickly and released from a three-quarters slot. Produced accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 80 mph. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and simple front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose hands to contact with a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Primarily looked to drive the ball to the middle of the field but flashed the bat speed and strength to turn the barrel and work to pull side with authority.
