Rob Blanc is a 2009 C/P from Newtown HS, residing in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, with a solid 6'0"/170 pound frame. Rob hits from a straight and upright stance with a knee lift trigger. Blanc has quick hands with solid power potential at the plate. He has a quick release from behind the plate with a solid transfer with a 2.14 pop time. Rob has solid receiving skills as a catcher. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long and loose arm action. His fastball has slight arm side run at 72 mph and has a good finish to his delivery. Blanc is a good student.
