Wesley Calloway is a 2024 1B/3B with a 6-0 230 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Whitefield Academy. Primary first baseman with a thick frame and strong build. Solid mover around the bag with fundamental footwork and feel for the position. Two-hand funnel out front and throws across the diamond at 82 mph. Stepped on the mound during game action and worked from the stretch exclusively. Ran the fastball up to 81 mph (1839 RPM) and a curveball in the mid-60s (1785 RPM). Right-handed hitter with an even base and balanced stance. Knee-lift trigger with easy impact through the middle and pull side. Controls the barrel with linear swing path and bat speed through the zone. Excellent student.
