Jaxson Wells is a 2027 OF/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends The First Academy. Medium high-waisted frame with good bit left in store. Ran a 7.21 in the sixty. Outfielder with solid strength to throws, gets it out quick and on time. Confident gathers and works through it well, lone line throws. Also pitched, three-quarter slot and changes looks well with different slots and setups on the bump. Arm is quick and produces short sink on the fastball that simply missed bats. Mixed in both the curve and slider at will, early break. Right-handed hitter, slightly open base with pre-set hands. Works from an uphill path and rotates well. Showed a sound middle of the field approach and produced good contact. Excellent student.
