Zachary Tavarez is a 2027 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Miami Lakes, FL who attends American Heritage. Recorded a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with an athletic frame. Showed good energy to actions in the infield, working to it smoothly with athleticism. Solid arm strength across the diamond up to 79 mph. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with even feet. Gets separated well and used a toe tap trigger to initiate swing. Stays on a linear path through the zone and created some length. Swing is contact-oriented and worked both of the gaps with line drives. Also pitched and had an efficient outing. Showed good arm speed and located well. Ran the fastball up to 81 mph, mixing in a 12-6 shaped curveball with some bite.
