Joshua Wimbley is a 2025 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Eagle's Landing HS. A lean & medium frame with room to fill in the build. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who moved well and was light on his feet during the round of defensive reps. He had some feel for the actions, fielding it off to the side and attacking it well. He was quicker through release, throwing from a lower slot. Threw 83 mph during the round. A right-handed hitter with a pretty upright stance and an even base. He has higher and tight hands. Rock-back load with an inside hand path, showing a very simple stroke, being fairly consistent. Very functional swing that he showed off during his round of BP swings. Added 2 hits in-game as well. He also worked out on the infield with easy movements, showing a feel for the footwork with a clean transfer into his release. They moved laterally well and had a longer arm action, throwing 76 mph across the diamond. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
