Austin Bausman is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Hallam, PA who attends Eastern York. Tall frame with a high waist and great physical projection remaining. Ran a 7.10 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, squares the ball up well with a low and clean exchange and release quickly, made all movement plays and accurate with the arm across the diamond. A right-handed hitter, wider base to start with a small stride. The hands work fast and the path gets on plane early. Linear approach working the bat out front and produced hard line drives to the pull side. A secondary pitcher, uses a high leg lift and linear process with the base and fires his core at foot strike. Full arm stroke and a high 3/4 release and some intent. Gets plane when fully extended and mixes a 10/4 shape breaking ball that will morph into a solid slider. Good two-way potential. Outstanding student.
