Brooks Farrell is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Floresville, TX who attends Floresville. Medium frame with a lean, slender frame showing some room to fill down the road. Ran a 7.08 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, sitting back on the baseball before he works into it. Clean gather out front and then carries weight well into throws. Arm starting to show carry as he threw it 77 MPH across the diamond during drills. Secondary Righthanded Pitcher, working exclusively out of the stretch. Full arm action in the back as he delivers from a three-quarter arm slot. Consistent mechanics and arm slot for all three pitches. Easy velocity as he ran his fastball up to 80 MPH. Also mixed in an 11-to-5 curveball and a late diving changeup. Deceptive arsenal of pitches as he went on to miss barrels and get outs. Righthanded Hitter, showing a lot of pre swing movements in both the upper and lower half. Bat speed showing as he threw hands at the baseball. Steep path to the baseball as he looks to drive the baseball back up the middle. Some pop when he found the barrel. Outstanding Student.
