Dylan Sayles is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Rockton, IL who attends Hononegah. Ran a 7.08-second sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher with a medium frame and build, starts from a high set behind the plate and gains good ground to second base while replacing the feet well. Makes throws to second base with accurate carry at 73 miles per hour. Also worked out in the outfield, showcasing a small crow hop to throw after fielding with clean glove actions off the front foot. Has a longer arm action in the back, making accurate throws to bases at 79 miles per hour. Left-handed hitter that starts from a tall and even stance, looking to elevate pull-side with a rotational lower half. Has a good shift to contact, showcasing strength in the hands and flashing some gap-to-gap jump as well. Mature approach at the plate. Good student.
