Colbert Watkins is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Greenville, NC who attends Junius H Rose. Tall, long, and ultra projectable frame. Ran a 7.23 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, short quick steps during the approach, rounds the back hand well. Good lateral range with a smooth exchange and a very good arm across the diamond. A right-handed hitter, narrow and tall stance with higher hands to start. Anchors the back leg and produces plenty of bat speed and extension out front. Comes off hard to the pull side. A secondary pitcher, good tempo and a smooth and athletic delivery. Holds the coil well and drives down the mound, full arm stroke on the back and a 3/4 release. Spins the ball hard and the breaker has swing and miss potential. Good overall two-way upside. Outstanding student.
