Brady Strawmyer is a 2023 LHP/ with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Fishers, IN who attends Hamilton Southeastern. Lean young pitchers build with lots of physical projection ahead of him. Works from the stretch with a simple, well controlled delivery and a high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics very well for his age and will be a premium strike thrower with these mechanics in the future. Worked consistently in the mid-70's with his fastball, plenty more velocity in there with additional strength, gets nice cutting action on his fastball at times along with occasional arm side run, works to quadrants with his fastball and spots it with intent. Gradually improved his curveball through this outing, snapped off some sharp ones near the end to show his potential with this pitch. Tends to tip his change at present with a slower body and showing his grip. Interesting young lefty with skills who just needs to get stronger. Excellent student.
