Mac Palmer is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Mtn Brook, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Ran a 7.05 second sixty-yard dash. The primary outfielder, with a medium frame and a lean, athletic type build, has short, choppy steps as he works through the baseball with good athleticism. Palmer gathers the ball out front while loading his weight on the backside as he accurately throws the ball 78 mph during the drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher works from the stretch only and lands a bit closed off. He has sidearm slot action alongside sinking and running action on his fastball topping 71 mph. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a narrow stance to start before shifting his weight. Palmer has a long and heavy stride that comes in and out of the zone with some barrel control as he the ball with a line drive swing path. Outstanding student.
