LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2024 Fall Northern California Showcase
Gabriel Coca is a 2027 OF/RHP with an athletic 6-1 185 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends De La Salle HS. Started off the event clocking A 7.02 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder, secondary pitcher. Two-way prospect. Right handed hitter, hits from an even stance, has solid present bat speed and showed his lift and juice a number of times in games, creates lots of backspin for additional carry, squared up everything in games and attacks out front with very good timing. High leg raise, pauses at the top to get balanced before firing down the mound. Has a clean, longer arm action. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, gets late cutting action at times and plenty of arm side run at others. Tends to throw too many curveballs at present, but has depth when the release is right. Named to the Top Prospect List. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
