Max Echevarria is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Senoia, GA who attends Landmark Christian. High-waisted and compact build. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, full windup from a high-energy delivery with some arm speed. Worked up to 81 mph with feel for a three pitch mix. Heater was at its best glove side with heavy cut and proved to be most effective against righties. Able to vary and manipulate depth to curveball at 70 mph and has advanced feel for pronating and killing spin on changeup at 67 mph. Also worked out in the outfield, utilized short and choppy steps with a clean one-hand gather. Showed athletic actions with a fuller arm stroke producing throws up to 83 mph. Right-handed hitter, even base with a higher hand setup. Showed balance and flashed some bat speed, but was inconsistent. Will need to add some loft to impact the ball out of the infield. An overall athletic player with solid skills to build upon. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
