Gehrig Hodges is a 2023 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Terry Sanford. Recorded an 8.96 second sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman fields the ball out front with a quick turn and accurately throws the ball to the bases with good glove actions as he is developing strength. Secondary left-handed pitcher moves from the stretch only with a low handset and a low leg kick with a good lateral movement to the plate as he keeps the fastball down in the zone while mixing in a change of pace breaking ball. Left-handed hitter steps to the plate with a short, narrow stance and primarily uses his upper body as he flicks his wrist at the ball with a long swing working the ball middle to opposite field approach while developing backspin. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
