Alan Sanchez is a 2021 C/3B with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Isabela, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Medium height with a barrel chest and lots of current strength to the frame. Ran a 7.95 in the sixty yard dash. A primary catcher, good set up and stays under and behind the ball. Gets his feet down quickly with a short arm action and stays on top at release. Popped a 1.97 during drills. A secondary infielder, very aggressive and cutting angles actions and arm should play at third base. A right-handed hitter, starts even and upright with his base with a leg lift trigger. Short stroke and turning hard to get the barrel out. Looks to pull with line drive contact. Very good student.
