Patton Mitchell is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Montgomery, AL who attends Trinity Presbyterian. Long and lean build, very projectable physically. Works from the stretch with a high leg raise start, long and fluid arm action to a 3/4's arm slot, gets down the mound will with lots of extension. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph, had good arm side run at times. Slider was a solid second pitch with some two-plane shape to it, comfortable throwing the slider to both right and left handed hitters. Also flashed a workable change up with some fade that can become a weapon for him. 7.32 runner in the sixty. Showed his athleticism well working out in both the outfield and at first bae. Left handed hitter, has good flow in his swing and loose hands with some strength in them, has good lift and power potential. Excellent student.
