Brayden Evans is a 2021 OF/ with a 5-9 163 lb. frame from Ocoee, FL who attends Ocoee. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build showing some room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.02 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, showing good routes to the baseball as he makes sure he keeps it in front of him. Clean gather as he works into throws with a longer arm stroke. Throws on the bag as he threw it 78 MPH during drills. Secondary Righthanded Pitcher, throwing exclusively from the stretch. Working with simple drop and drive mechanics as he flashed an over the top release. Pounded the strike zone with a solid two pitch mix. Fastball was up to 77 MPH and he felt confident going to both sides of the plate with it. Curveball was landed for strikes as it showed more depth than anything else. Righthanded Hitter, starting from a spread out stance with active hands. Uphill swing path as he showed some bat speed. Middle away type approach as he found some barrels. Good Student.
