Jaxon Cummings is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Auburn, WA who attends Sumner. Young build with plenty of growing ahead of him. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a hanging leg raise close, upper body top down swing with an early front side to start his swing, line drive swing plane, gets the barrel into the zone on time and is looking to pull the ball, has some bat to ball skills, raw bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. 8.36 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder who is very aggressive to the ball in the outfield, works through the ball with confidence and fields it cleanly with good glove position, arm strength is still developing but has the building blocks to become a solid defender in the outfield. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a long over the top arm action. Fastball topped out at 64 mph, showed confidence in a 12/6 downer curveball that he threw for consistent strikes.
