Nathan Balser is a 2023 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, MIF, IF, UT with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Legend. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on approach to the ball, softness and quickness to hands out front in fielding skills, shorter arm action through the back and gets rid of the ball quickly with arm strength across, can change slots and plays well on the move. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and utilizes a simple approach at the plate, upper body dominant swing, good balance throughout with extension out front. Direct path and shows some hand speed, best contact to middle of field, can continue to implement additional lower half into actions. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
