Trent McGowen is a 2025 3B/RHP/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Elm Grove, LA who attends Haughton. Primary 3B with a physical frame. Gets to the ball well for his size and fields it cleanly out front. Glove gets down late at times but was still able to make plays. Gets it out from a full wind up with good strength behind his throws. Profiles best on the corner. Also pitched and worked up to 75 with his fastball. Delivery works from a belt high leg lift from a shorter arm stroke with a standard sidestep delivery. Right-handed hitter with an even stance starting more upright. Hands start far. Uses a small leg raise and stride into contact for timing. Gets off the backside well and rotates hard at the top half of things while clearing the hips well. Was able to impact it to pull and create leverage. Good Student.
