Brad Johnson is a 2023 SS/RHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Arlington, WA who attends Marysville Getchell. Long and lean frame with good room to fill out. Ran a 7.50 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, shows solid fundamental actions on the dirt, fields with two hands out front showing good glove work transferring to a long arm action with good strength clocked up to 84 mph on throws across. Also pitches, has a slower paced delivery with good balance; shows good arm speed through a three-quarters slot generating late run to the arm side on the fastball while showing feel for a good changeup with tumble at the plate and a firm curveball. Right-handed hitter, sets up wide in the lower; works direct to contact with some feel for the barrel and good whip through the zone generating solid line drive contact to the middle of the field and both gaps. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
