Nick Rinala is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-6 140 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Indian Hill. Medium frame with young, slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.45 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance, hands locked next to chest in set, collapses into back leg and launches straight uphill, projects for pull-side power with maturation. Worked out in the outfield, gets behind the ball well and lines it up, waits back a bit, clean arm stroke, clocked up to 77 mph on throws. Also pitched, compact stroke through the back with big trunk tilt to get near vertical with slot, fastball worked 70-76 mph with plane, flashed curveball as well. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
