Marcus Boone is a 2022 C with a 5-11 202 lb. frame from Canton, MI who attends Canton. Strong athletic build. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big hand hitch, torques and drives his hands hard and creates present bat speed with plenty of jump off the barrel, timing intensive hand action but the swing works when he's on time due to his strength, works gap to gap with plenty of power potential. 7.64 runner in the sixty. Has good fundamentals behind the plate defensively with developing quickness and arm strength, makes accurate throws with a clean and quick exchange on his throws. Excellent student.
