Jack Smejkal is a 2026 RHP/SS with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The Woodlands. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and lean athletic build. High hands delivery throughout working from the third base side of the rubber. Loose arm action with a belt-high lift and medium arm swing to a low 3/4 arm slot. Direct down the slope with whip to the arm at release on fastball up to 91 mph (2377 RPM) with arm side run and sink. Slider with sweep action in the low-80s (2439 RPM) and changeup with fade at 84 mph (1731 RPM). Controls three pitches and challenges hitters in the strike zone. Secondary infielder with quick feet and some range to both sides. Throws across the diamond at 87 mph. Recorded a 7.05 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed hitter with a balanced stance and low back elbow slot in the box. Pull side approach with some hand speed through the zone and strength out front to impact. Good student.
