Darin Eales is a 2022 SS/RHP, C, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Stockton, CA who attends Bear Creek. He ran a 7.15 second sixty. A primary short stop with a medium athletic build. On the infield he works around the baseball well with bounce in his step and some energy to the actions, the footwork and glove work well together coming through the ball into the throws with a higher slot and average arm strength. Behind the plate he showed good feel for the catch and throw with a quick transfer and some arm strength that will get even better as the back side gets through the throws. Right-handed hitter, the path works level through the hitting zone with some barrel feel, he worked to the middle of the field at his best with hard hit line drives producing some jump off the barrel showcasing a simple short swing. Very good student.
