Paul Shanabarger is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Long athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Has a slow paced and low effort delivery on the mound, has a short stride out front, tight high 3/4's arm slot that hides the ball well, tends to land open with his lower half. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph, had nice run and sink as he got into his pitch count, works mostly to the glove side due to his landing position. Threw a soft curveball as his breaking ball, pitch had better spin and shape the harder he threw it. Showed better command and raw stuff from the wind up than the stretch. Can get more out of his lower half in his delivery. Right handed hitter, hits from a bent knee stance, has a long and loose swing, can get the ball in the air and carry it when he meets it out front, will run into some occasionally.
