Keegan McAtee is a 2024 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Muscatine, IA who attends Muscatine. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits out of an open semi-crouched stance with a leg lift trigger, top hand dominant swing that creates some pull side juice, gets into his strong hips well, slight uphill swing path, swings hard and creates some bat speed, will develop more consistency with repetitions and experience but has the strength to project as a hitter. 7.73 runner in the sixty. Showed sound fundamentals on defense in the infield, third base tools without more lower half quickness, stays balanced well and has soft hands out front, makes accurate throws from a compact arm action. Good student.
