Brockton Cantrell is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Ocean Springs, MS who attends Ocean Springs. Extra-Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 7.24 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a belt high lift. Works down the hill showing a medium arm swing before releasing from a three-quarter slot. Fluid delivery as he proved he could repeat himself. Went right after hitters with a lively fastball that was up to 85 mph. Also mixed in a pair of breaking balls that he proved he could land for strikes. Confident in his stuff and projects on the mound going forward. Right-Handed Hitter, wide base with hands off the back shoulder to start. Toe tap trigger to a smaller load as he lands in a balanced position. Bat speed present as he fires the barrel through the zone. Lift to the swing present as he drove it deep to the pull-side with ease. Just missed a homerun in games with a towering fly ball to the pull-side. Outstanding Student. Named to Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
