Kieran Leatherman is a 2026 OF/MIF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Maple Grove, MN who attends Wayzata. Recorded a 6.58 second sixty-yard dash time. Taller frame with a strong build. Primary outfielder with a quick first step and real speed to go get the baseball. Fundamental footwork to the ball and the ability to break down on the baseball. Clean transfer with bigger arm strength. Throws carried well to the plate with some one-hop accuracy. Longer release from a high three- quarter arm slot. Recorded throws up to 87 during workout. Right-handed hitter starts from an even base and a square stance with even hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a leg lift trigger. Athletic look with some length to the swing and gets on plane. Creates some leverage out front with a direct bat path and pop off the barrel. Gap-to-gap approach with feel to keep the ball on the barrel with in-sync swings throughout the round. Exciting outfielder with power/speed upside. Great student. Named to the 2024 Minnesota Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
