Timothy Monaghan is a 2022 OF/LHP with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Yucaipa, CA who attends Yucaipa. Recorded a 6.97 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing good speed. High-waisted frame and lanky/lean build with room to fill. Primary outfielder with an aggressive approach, fields it out front and moves through it well. Clean glove with a long and full arm action, developing arm strength, tends to get under the ball on release. Secondary left-handed pitcher with a low effort delivery and long arm action. Arm stays in line, throws a big looping curveball with 12-6 shape and a nice-looking changeup with fade to complete the three-pitch mix. Will improve as he throws with higher intent. Left-handed hitter with a big leg lift trigger and deep and low hand load. Tries to lift the ball with a strictly pull side approach, limited lower half drive. Extremely high finish with the hands, upwards swing path. Tends to cut himself off, at his best when finishing the swing and pulling the hands all the way through. Great student.
