Carter Wilcox is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Aurora, CO who attends Cherokee Trail. Lean young athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. High leg raise/hand raise start, long off line arm action in back, high energy delivery, has a fast and loose arm, lots of deception in his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 90 mph with more there in the future, 18-20" of IVB, fastball velocity plays up. Big sweeping curveball is a serious weapon when thrown for strikes, 2800+ rpm spin with up to 20" of horizontal life, can over match hitters and catchers alike. Flashed a change up but mostly a two-pitch thrower at present. Not a comfortable at-bat. Good student, verbal commitment to Iowa.
