Jirius Khoury is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist. Primary SS with a medium sized frame and good strength. Moves to the ball well with lateral range. Works around it well with some hop in his step and fielded it cleanly with game like actions. Was up to 82 from the infield from a higher release. Also played outfield working through the ball well. Gets it out quick from a shorter arm path with good carry behind his throws. Was up to 81 from the outfield. Also pitched throwing from a standard 3/4 slot working up to 78. Showed good repeatable actions from his delivery working down the slope inline. Compact arm action. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base. Uses a small leg raise and stride into contact for timing and rhythm with a strong hand load. Could clear hips well and impact the ball to pull while getting into his lower half. Gets on plane at times but will need to be more consistent with his bat path moving forward. Still projects well in the box with a contact-oriented approach. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
