John Whitt is a 2026 RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends East Cobb Baseball Academy. Features a taller/wiry build. Ran a 7.49 60-yd dash. In the INF, displayed developing footwork. Showed solid glovework fielding it clean and out front but with limited rhythm through. Avg. lateral quickness and range. Slower exchange with solid arm strength where he used a longer arm stroke. At the plate, he sits in an open base with tighter set hands. Used a leg lift trigger. Showed a compact stroke where his hands stayed inside it well. Timing was a tad off which resulted in a midd-oppo approach throughout his round. Was on barrel a majority of the round but showing just avg. strength at impact. On the mound, showed a slower tempo tall/fall type delivery exclusively from the stretch. His arm action was long and loose out the glove to release out of a normal 3/4 slot. Exhibited avg. arm speed for his level. He ran his fastball up to 80 that flashed some sinking action. Also mixed a low 70s slider that had quality tilting action and flashed sweep producing some whiffs.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
