2023 High School All State Select Championship (2024-2025 Grads)
Vincent Ippolito is a 2025 C/1B, 3B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Villa Park, IL who attends Willowbrook. Features a smaller frame but with compact strength throughout the build. Ran a 7.55 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, showed solid catch/throw ability where his best pop was a 1.96. Got into a taller side-saddle set up before reception. Has proper footwork where he gains ground and sets good direction. Exhibited an efficient transfer with avg. quickness. Arm action stayed short with quality accuracy and strength up to 75 mph. Offensively, he sets up in a wider open stance with higher set hands. More of a two-part swing where he uses a simple forward move that gets his foot down early. Barrel sets into a good launch but separation creates a slight arm bar. Some effort to the swing where it gets through on a flatter path with above avg. bat speed for his level but with some inconsistent timing and barrel accuracy. When he did make contact he demonstrated quality strength at impact.
