Truett Allen is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Second Baptist. Primary 3b with a strong arm and was up to 89 from the infield. Has quick feet and moves well laterally with longer arm action. Made throws with accuracy and on a line. Also played outfield and was up to 88 from there. Fields it out front cleanly with a one hand gather. Gets to the ball with good control and gets it out from a full arm swing. Worked through the ball well. Also played first and was up to 90. Is comfortable around the bag and looks the part there. Showed good footwork around first. Also ran a 7.23 sixty. Also pitched throwing from the stretch only. Fastball worked up to 84. Right handed hitter with an even and balanced base. Rotates well at the top half of things and could clear the hips. Takes a direct swing path with a level swing to the ball. Worked the middle of the field well with some impact and bat speed that will play. Excellent student. Named to the South High School All-State TP List.
