Carson Froy is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Bigger build with some strength potential. Has a quick and compact delivery with a straight over the top arm slot, pretty low effort mechanics that he repeats well, will drop his slot at times with intent to create deception, will get soft on his front side at times and leave his arm behind. Fastball worked in the upper 70's and topped out at 80 mph, gets some late tailing life, commands his fastball well to the arm side. Nice change up with fading action, maintains his arm speed well on the pitch. Curveball had some tightness and two-plane depth. Knows how to mix his pitches and can pitch backwards. Prototypical crafty lefty. Excellent student. Named to the Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
