2020 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Connor MacConchie is a 2021 C/UT with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Kearny, NJ who attends Kearny. Recorded a 7.79 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compactly built frame with some present strength and room to physically mature. Primary catcher; side-saddled stance, gains ground out of crouch fairly quick with soft receiving hands and good mid-line transfers. Longer arm action with present arm strength recorded up to 73 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a lower hand set and toe-tap trigger. Middle-to-opposite field approach with elongated, upward bat path and developing bat-to-ball skills. Will improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.
