Johnny Badala is a 2026 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Nokomis, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney. Features a well-proportioned physical build with noticeable strength. In the OF, showed athletic actions. Gets around and through it with quickness that maintains through reception. Fields it clean and out front and works quick to release. Sets some uphill shoulders and pulls down from them producing some higher arcing throws that were one-hop accurate to the bag. Above avg. arm strength for his level. At the plate, sits in a medium base and uses a leg lift trigger that initiates early with a slight sway into backside. Smaller takeback of hands in load. Barrel enters early and works uphill into contact with some above avg. bat speed. Creates good leverage with his lower half. Some inconsistent timing during his round but caught several out front that produced some loud barrels including a HR that showed his pullside impact/power. Found a couple loud through the middle of the field during gameplay. Named to Top Prospect List.
