Cannon Kelley is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Germantown, TN who attends St. George's. Medium build with some present strength and room for more. Multi-piece arm action in back, comes to a 3/4's slot out front, lands a bit open with his front side and lower half. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, showed nice running life at times and thrown for strikes, very consistent velocity for three innings. Threw an occasional 71 mph slider/cutter that had good power and shape, would benefit from mixing this pitch in more as it was a solid offering. Right handed hitter, hits from a square and balanced spread stance, showed a short and controlled swing with some uphill plane through contact, more of a contact/all fields approach at present. 8.00 runner in the sixty. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
