2021 Sunshine Rocky Mountain Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Ian Paine is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Highlands Ranch, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. Long and rangy frame with plenty of projection left on it for the future. Primary RHP who throws out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a compact arm circle and an online stride down the slope. His FB sat 74-79 mph. He also showed a SL that had some late tilting action to it as it approached the hitting zone. The CB is the last offering in his arsenal and it showed deep slurvey shape and flashed a couple with bite and tightness. Great student.
