Ethan Paluszek is a 2024 3B/RHP/2B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Poly Prep Country Day. Paluszek works from a medium build with plenty of room to fill out and add strength in the future. From his primary IF spot, he successfully fielded out in front seeing the ball deep into the glove with evident range up the middle. He produced some carry across the diamond up to 79 mph with control to the mechanics on charge plays. On the bump, the righty used a compact arm stroke and higher 3/4 slot to throw strikes and let his defense work behind him. He displayed feel for spin in the arsenal with the FB up to 2113 rpm as well as a looping curveball that kept hitters off balance at the plate. Offensively, Paluszek started from an open stance with bat speed and hip torque present to generate solid line drive contact gap to gap. He kept the bat path level through the zone, posting an exit velo of 79 mph. Ran a 7.50 sixty yard dash. Good student.
