2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Aiden Whittaker is a 2025 RHP/1B, 3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Bainbridge, GA who attends Grace Christian Academy. High waisted lean build. On the hill, he works with a standard delivery and belt high lift. Long fluid arm action with release from a low three-quarters slot. Fastball shows future power sinker type qualities. Command wasn't spectacular but definitely filled it up enough to produce a bunch of ground balls. Curveball was spun tightly with quality late depth, probably would be in favor of him utilizing it a bit more. Needs to fill out his frame but there’s a chance to pop. In the infield, he shows proper footwork and glove technique. He delivers accurate throws across with developing strength. At the plate, he sets up with even base and high back elbow working into a flat hand, downhill path to contact. Impacts it well through the middle of the field along with several line drives into the gaps. 7.59 60-yard. Outstanding academics.
