Seth Reker is a 2023 3B/1B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Alta Loma, CA who attends Alta Loma. Features a bigger build with some strength present. Ran a 7.76 60-yard. Put on a solid defensive workout at both first base and on the infield. Solid glove actions allowed for the ball to be caught clean frequently. Moved fairly well with athleticism throughout the fielding process. Range and footwork profile best for a corner spot. A short, clean arm action helps generate solid arm strength and accurate throws. Utilizes a simple square stance setup in the box with hands at the letters. Shifts weight to the backside well using a toe tap timing mechanism. A short, balanced swing produces quick bat speed that stays through the middle of the field often. Flashed some pullside power. Adding strength and getting the lower half more involved would help boost the power profile. Very good student, as well.
