Jesse Martinez is a 2022 OF/IF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from San Leandro, CA who attends Arroyo. He ran a 7.32 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a long lean build. In the outfield he works to the ball quickly with proper footwork and fields the ball out front off his left foot with good glove work, the throws showed average carry with accuracy. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and takes a simple stride into the ball, the barrel works level through ball creating line drive when on time and out front with the barrel using the middle of the field. Good student.
