Solomon Gardner is a 2024 C/3B/MIF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Olympia, WA who attends Olympia. Medium size athletic frame with some room to fill out. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. A versatile catcher/infielder with some quicker feet popping up behind the plate, gains ground well, efficient when the transfer is clean and throws consistently on target with some average arm strength. Corner infield type actions getting directly to the baseball, works the glove ground up well, quicker reactions moving laterally, showed body control moving around the infield and making athletic throws on the run with solid average arm strength. Hit from a wide base with toe tap timing at the plate. Quick hands with a slight uphill path through the zone, gets to a consistent hitting position and puts quality swings on the baseball driving it gap to gap. Was consistently on time in game, collecting multiple hits, using the whole field and showing the ability to get to the barrel on a consistent basis. Good student.
