Hudson Gardner is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. The southpaw held an effective outing while displaying some pitchability on the mound. He topped his fastball out at 76 flashing late life and mixed the breaking ball well. His operation showed feel to repeat and the low 3/4 slot is fluid. His delivery has some deceptive value to it releasing with a slight cross-fire action with plenty of feel for the zone. He generated soft contact for outs and stayed in rhythm. Physically he has time to fill and add to his arm, but overall has the right pieces coming together and showed knowledge of landing his pitches on both sides of the zone. Great student.
