Stephen Veres is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS, MIF, OF, UT with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Goodyear, AZ who attends Millennium. Long and lengthy slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, solid feel for his age in the infield, still learning how to use the length in his frame. Fields out in front, works to stay low when fielding. Developing accuracy across the diamond. On the mound, has a long and loose arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball up to 75 mph possesses good sink to the plate. Lives around the zone with his fastball, did not showcase a secondary pitch. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a leg kick trigger. Works his hands inside the ball, middle of the field approach. Power tool will continue to develop nicely alongside his build. Good student in the classroom as well.
